Titulado 'Rave Un2 the joy fantastic' incluye 16 temas y saldrá editado el 2 de noviembre. El primer single 'The greatest romance ever sold' aparecerá publicado el 28 de septiembre.

El disco incluye diversas colaboraciones destacadas: con Sheryl Crow canta 'Baby knows'; con Gwen Stefani (No Doubt) 'So far so pleased'; con Ani DiFranco interpreta 'I love U but I don't trust U anymore'; con el saxofonista Maceo Parker, canta 'Pretty man' y con el rapper Chuck D (Public Enemy), 'Undisputed'.

También destaca la versión que Prince ha incluido del tema de Sheryl Crow de 1996, 'Everyday is a winding road'.

Curiosamente, la canción que da título al disco fue escrita y grabada por Prince en 1988.

'Rave Un2 the joy fantastic' saldrá publicado en la compañía discográfica Arista y bajo el sello NPG Records.
